Rooted in Black Sexual Epistemology (Gilbert, 2019), The Erotic Self comes from a decolonizing intersectional queer & trans inclusive point of view (POV) of the sexual lived experience of Black folx of African American descent. This ground-breaking research affirms what Black folx have known all along- our sexual pleasure is rooted in our sexual healing.
Unfortunately, the impact of harmful and oppressive narratives, the lack of support for trauma survivors, and the continued ignoring of Black pain leads to choices that too often shame sexual healing instead of providing affirming and compassionate engagement in sexual healing.
The WHOLE-Self Healing Institute, Inc. is the home to Queen's brand of decolonizing and intersectional sexual healing and instruction. The Institute was founded to be a place of personal and professional learning of sexual healing, particularly Black sexual healing.
The WHOLE-Self Healing Institute, Inc. offers professional development training in erotic coaching, relationship coaching, Intersectional Cogntive Behavior Therapy & Approach, Somatic Sex Therapy. For personal development, the TWSHI offers Healing The Erotic Self Coaching Program, hypotherapy, tarot coaching and training, and other wholistic healing practices.
